A Pancake Breakfast will be held at the Farm Museum from 7:00 to 9:30 AM.

Departing from the Hardin County Farm Museum at 9:00 AM, we will travel about 25 miles throughout the South Greenbelt Region of Hardin County. We will start in Eldora from the Farm Museum and travel State Highway S62 to Union. The Union Community Betterment Club and the South Hardin Kiwanis Club will host our stay in Union. While in Union we will have our tractors lined up for a public display and tour the Heart of Iowa Communications Cooperative and other points of interest in Union. Then we will go to David Bates County Park for a pork loin dinner. After dinner we will travel back roads and view the beautiful Iowa River from the eastern side. While traveling we can see where the railroad connected with Eldora Junction, Xenia Cemetery and where the town of Secor once was located. We will come into Eldora traveling the back roads. At the intersection of 17 th Ave and Washington St in Eldora we will return back to the Farm Museum. The public is invited to view the antique tractors and have breakfast and dinner with the drivers.

Rules & Regulations

Enter at the North Gate of the Hardin County Farm Museum. Prior to departure, there will be a drivers meeting and the tractors will be lined up for the ride. All tractors must have a SMV sign visible during the ride. Drivers must have a valid driver’s license and be at least 16 years of age. The tractors must have a rear view mirror. Tractors must have a minimum speed of 10 mph. No passing. The ride will be held rain or shine. The ride is limited to the first 100 applicants. Deadline for applying is August 13, 2007.
