The City of Eldora is committed to removing blight and enforcing our codes. Blighted properties breeds apathy and sense of no accountability. One of the most important jobs right now for the City is code enforcement. The citizens of Eldora are encouraged to participate by first cleaning up their property but also reporting offenses and violations of the City’s Code of Ordinances relating to nuisances. These nuisances whether they be garbage in the yard, broken windows, vehicles parked illegally or junk vehicles sitting in the open affect property values and people’s sense of pride in the community. Let’s all work together and make a difference.
Check out our Ordinances page for any details and look below for forms and other useful information relating to the City’s efforts to remove blight and improve our community.
